Dow Corning DC 976 High Vacuum Greases

Low volatility over a wide temperature range.

Features

  • Lubricates synthetic and silicone rubber gaskets for high-temperature rough-vacuum grease uses
  • Unaffected by vegetable oils, mineral oils, and common gases, and resists most aqueous solutions of inorganic salts
  • Used in chemical plants to lubricate plug valves, flow meter bearings, ceramic plug cocks, water treatment equipment, and fire extinguisher valves

It is strongly recommend using all fluids and greases at the time of receipt, however when storage is necessary, rotate older stock into use first and observe the recommended parameters listed below.

Silicone Oils & Grease

Shelf life is minimum 5 years when material is kept in original container and stored at normal, ambient temperatures out of direct sunlight.

When stored under normal warehouse conditions, Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease has a shelf life of 60 months from date of manufacture, which is marked on each tube.
